KFC launched its revolutionary new Original Recipe Boneless chicken and “I Ate the Bones” ad campaign. Now, KFC is giving consumers the chance to try the product for free, and inviting them to show off their best “I Ate the Bones” reaction on Facebook:
On Monday, May 6, KFC is hosting the Original Recipe Boneless Happy Hour between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at participating restaurants. The first 100 consumers in each location to say “I Ate the Bones” will get to enjoy one FREE piece of the new boneless chicken.
Also, KFC launched the “I Ate the Bones” Facebook app and contest, where consumers can use the #iatethebones hashtag and post a photo or video with their best “I Ate the Bones” reaction and encourage friends and family to vote for their entries. Weekly winners will be chosen to receive an “I Ate the Bones” t-shirt and KFC gift checks. Five Grand Prize winners will be selected to receive $1,000 and a chance to be featured in a KFC advertisement.
