Great DIY Sink Extender for Kids!

Tania found this pin on Pinterest and we just thought it was great!

I really could have used a sink extender when my guys were little and this wouldn’t have costed anything!

How to Create Sink Extender:

  • Cut an ‘X’ in the bottom of a plastic bottle (keeps the bottle from moving around)
  • Next, cut the top off and along the side as shown.

I would be sure to take some fine grain sandpaper to make sure the edges are not sharp for those curious little fingers.

  1. It has always eluded me why bathroom faucet spouts are designed so short. I replaced mine with a $20.00 laundry tub faucet. It has a long gooseneck and it swivels, which makes rinsing the sink easier.

  2. Great idea for those of us that are disabled and can’t make the reach from our wheelchairs ! Thanks a million ! I really needed this idea.

  3. i think that an old Wii plastic cover would work too.(plus with the plastic its safer:) Ours seems to get ripped and then we just toss them! will try this to it next time it does that!!!
