Great DIY Sink Extender for Kids!
Tania found this pin on Pinterest and we just thought it was great!
I really could have used a sink extender when my guys were little and this wouldn’t have costed anything!
How to Create Sink Extender:
- Cut an ‘X’ in the bottom of a plastic bottle (keeps the bottle from moving around)
- Next, cut the top off and along the side as shown.
I would be sure to take some fine grain sandpaper to make sure the edges are not sharp for those curious little fingers.

Wow … that is fantastic. Also good for those who may be in a wheel chair and is hard to extend and hold the arms.
I absolutely LOVE this idea and am going to try it out as soon as my two go down for a nap. Thank you!!!!!!
It has always eluded me why bathroom faucet spouts are designed so short. I replaced mine with a $20.00 laundry tub faucet. It has a long gooseneck and it swivels, which makes rinsing the sink easier.
We thought it was such a clever idea that we had to share and it is nice that you don’t have to buy a thing to do this.
Great idea for those of us that are disabled and can’t make the reach from our wheelchairs ! Thanks a million ! I really needed this idea.
You still have to reach to turn the water on and off….
i think that an old Wii plastic cover would work too.(plus with the plastic its safer:) Ours seems to get ripped and then we just toss them! will try this to it next time it does that!!!
