Our First KOA Kamping Experience
We love to get outdoors with our family of rowdy boys! Nothing seems to wear them out like being outdoors and fishing and swimming and playing in the sun!
We had the opportunity to stay at the KOA in Sugarloaf Key a few weeks ago and we really liked it. This was our first experience with KOA camping and we were not disappointed. We haven’t camped in a while so we didn’t have any of the right equipment but that was okay because all we had to do was pull up to our rental cabin with our food and clothes and we were ready to go!
The KOA was super clean and very well kept up. We really enjoyed the fact that there was a marina right on the property where they boys could get bait and advice on where to fish.
The boys enjoyed fishing as well as swimming. They had a trampoline and climbing tower in the water that the boys had a great time playing on in addition to a large swimming pool!
Mike and I really enjoyed the deck right outside our cabin. We watched sunsets (and he watched the sunrise – I slept…lol). The deck had a gas grill that we used to grill up the Mahi we caught.
All in all it was a great time and we would definitely go back again.
If you are new to camping, renting a Kamping Kabin may be the right step for you. It allows you to enjoy all that camping has to offer without having all of the equipment.
Get out this summer with your kids and have a great time making memories.
