Easy Buttercream Frosting Recipe
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 cups confectioners’ sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 to 6 tablespoons heavy cream or whole milk
In a large bowl, beat all ingredients together with electric mixer. Add more milk until desired consistency is reached. Yields about 3 cups.
My all-time favorite frosting is peanut butter. Using the same recipe above, replace the butter with peanut butter, and add a few extra tablespoons of milk.
