Crest has you covered this Halloween!
- Halloween is one of the most magical times of year! We get to dress our kids up in adorable costumes, enjoy the cool weather, and eat LOTS of candy! For most us (myself included), Halloween is centered around costumes, candy, and junk food. What would trick or treating be without candy? Crest recently released a statistic that may surprise you… 7 in 10 parents actually enforce a stricter teeth brushing and flossing routine on Halloween 😳 I’m happy to hear that we’re not the only parents that enforce that on their kids 😂 I always make the kids brush their teeth before and after trick or treating, to help protect their little teeth. Another fun fact from Crest is that 41% of parents also compensate for Halloween candy by serving a healthier dinner on the holiday itself or the next night. This is a great idea to help reduce their sugar intake and make sure they are balancing it out with healthy food. Crest recently launched a Halloween campaign to help protect your family’s teeth and the Crest Halloween Commercial for it is adorable! They brought together a group of school-aged children for a focus group where they are asked them to test out some new healthy alternatives
for the season. The results will have you rolling on the floor with laughter!
Tips for a healthy (but fun) Halloween!
- Halloween is full of fun, games, and candy but keeping our kids’ teeth healthy can be a real challenge. Make this Halloween a “Crest Halloween” by shopping for Crest products at Walmart and trying out a few of these easy tips to protect those little teeth. Limiting the amount of candy your child can eat on Halloween can play a huge part in preventing cavities. According to Crest, 72.7% of mothers limit their children to a maximum of 10 pieces of candy on Halloween. Just remember you’re not alone when they get upset. There are lots of other parents out there doing the same thing. 😇I’ve heard of some parents that even “buy back” candy from their kids for cold, hard cash or in exchange for gifts 😂 While that is a unique idea, if it keeps my kids from getting sick or eating too much candy it might be worth it… Another great way to keep your kids’ teeth safe this Halloween is by choosing Crest toothpaste and Crest dental products Walmart. Brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash go a long way in preventing cavities and keeping your child’s teeth healthy. Have a great “Crest Halloween” and remember to brush responsibly this year 😎
