    1. so i was at cvs at midnight taking advantage of this coca cola deal (and the sparkle paper towel deal too!). i ran into a couple snags and was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience. when i scanned the coca cola 12 packs at the coupon kiosk (red machine) it stated $5 each, $5 off when you purchase 3. during my transaction the register or system would only allow 2 of 3 mcr free 12 pack coupons to be scanned. of course i got the usual attempt to convince me i should proceed despite the issue i was having with the coupon not scanning. but after someone else was called over and did some sort of manual override or something, the extra bucks didn’t even print out…the cashier was nice-ish but went so far as to talk/complain/make fun of my use of coupons stating all sorts of things that weren’t actually based on any cvs policies that are in place. whenever i would advise what was being told to me wasn’t cvs policy i was met with excuses like “well i don’t know about the cvs coupon policy” and such.

also, i also run into inconsistencies with regards to the cvs coupons and extrabucks being applied to the transaction. for instance, on 1 transaction the extrabucks i use will show up on the receipt as cvs store coupon and tax won’t be charged on the amount of the extrabucks. on another transaction, the extrabucks i use will show up on the receipt as cvs manufacturer coupon and tax will be charged on the amount of the extrabucks. recently, i read an article on http://couponsinthenews.com/ that stated that some stores will collect taxes when not required to do so, such as on the dollar amount of store coupons that are used. if anyone else has experienced this/these issues and has contacted cvs or has any pertinent info i’m all ears.
