Are you a Starbucks fan? If you like cupcakes, you will love these 9 Cupcakes Inspired By Starbucks Drinks!

Caramel Macchiato Cupcakes:

  • coffee cupcakes from Leite’s Culinaria
  • whipped cream (whip up 1C of whipping cream and add icing sugar and vanilla to taste. dissolve 1 tsp of instant coffee in 1 tsp of hot water and whip into the cream. the filling doesn’t need to be very sweet at all, it’s a nice contrast to the frosting)
  • coffee buttercream (add 2-3 tsp of concentrated coffee in your favourite buttercream recipe)
  • caramel drizzle (not “real” caramel but it’s a lot faster/easier than the traditional caramel)

Mocha Coconut Frappuccino Cupcakes:

  • 1 1/8 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons instant coffee powder
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate or cappuccino chips

Gingerbread Latte Cupcakes:

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsulfured molasses
  • 1 large egg, beaten lightly
  • 1/2 cup strong, very hot coffee
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes:

  • 1 and 1/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons espresso powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup coffee, for brushing

Cinnamon Dolce Latte Cupcakes:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup browned butter*
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup brewed coffee

Caramel Frappuccino Cupcakes:

  1. 3/4 cup whole or low-fat milk
  2. 1/4 cup sour cream
  3. 1 package of Starbucks Via Instant Coffee
  4. 1 tbsp vanilla
  5. 3 cups cake flour
  6. 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  8. 1 teaspoon salt
  9. 2 teaspoons of another pack of Starbucks Via Instant Coffee
  10. 2 teaspoons unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  11. 3/4 cup butter at room temperature
  12. 1 1/2 cup white sugar
  13. 4 eggs, yolks and whites separated

Peppermint Mocha Cupcakes:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 2 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1 heaping Tablespoon instant coffee*
  • 1/2 cup (64g) unsweetened cocoa powder (not Dutch processed)
  • 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour* (careful not to overmeasure)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50g) packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) buttermilk*

Vegan Green Tea Frappuccino Cupcakes:

  • 1 cup Earth Balance (or other vegan margarine)
  • - 1½ cup white granulated sugar (Redpath is vegan)
  • - 3 tbsp + 1 tsp flax meal
  • - 8 tbsp warm water
  • - 3 cups flour
  • - 2½ tsp baking powder
  • - 1 tsp baking soda
  • - 1 tsp salt (if your butter is salted, omit this)
  • - 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder
  • - 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (use rice milk or soy if you want to keep it nut-free)
  • - (Buttercream)
  • - 1 cup vegetable shortening
  • - 3 cups icing sugar
  • - 4 tbsp coconut milk

Eggnog Latte Cupcakes:

  • 1 vanilla cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. eggnog
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. rum extract
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
